This is a finely broken flake, with a tin note that reminds me of burnt sugar, which makes me fairly certain it’s stoved at some point in production. The flavor is sweet, zesty, and slightly creamy—your typical Virginia profile, but it seems to have an additional layer of flavor. There’s a subtle hint of spice, almost like cinnamon. While many compare Sutliff's 515 to McClelland 5100 as a replacement, I find Blackjack to be a much closer match. The only downside is that it’s on the milder side of the spectrum. Overall, a very nice blend.
