Product Information & Specifications
More than a cigar. It's a state of mind.
Placebo was born from a simple idea: relief does not always come from medicine. Inspired by the placebo effect, the brand is rooted in the belief that comfort can begin in the mind. In the midst of life's constant noise and pressure, a meaningful pause can bring a sense of calm of its own. Each cigar offers a moment of escape, inviting reflection, balance, and ease. Placebo is a reminder that sometimes the greatest sense of relief comes from simply slowing down.
Premium Nicaraguan Craftsmanship
Made with Cuban-sandwich construction, Placebo pairs Nicaraguan filler with two binders—one from Nicaragua’s Jalapa region and one from Indonesia—beneath a smooth Ecuadorian Habano Claro wrapper. Its light tan wrapper has a moderate sheen, while the blend delivers mild-to-medium strength and a medium body.
The cold draw offers hay, cedar, and a hint of sweetness. Cedar, light pepper, and delicate floral notes lead the first third. As the cigar develops, wood and nuts come forward alongside cream, toast, and gently rising spice. The final third brings mineral and earthy notes, finishing dry with cedar and pepper.
Choose from five sizes: Robusto (5 × 50), Corona (5.5 × 42), Toro (6 × 50), Churchill (7 × 48), and Belicoso (5.5 × 52)—or the slender Lancero (7 × 38).
