Each Preferido Double Barrel-Aged perfecto undergoes a meticulous aging process in rum barrels, resulting in a harmonious fusion of flavors and aromas. First, the binders and fillers are aged for 1 year in barrels that once held some of the Caribbean’s finest aged rums—steeped with notes of dark sugar, oak, and spice—and then once rolled by our most experienced torcedores spend an additional 90 days aging in those same barrels under the guidance of Master Blender Manuel Inoa.
