Barreda Don Chico Vintage Habano Toro

The defining feature of Barreda Don Chico Vintage Habano Toro is its long aged Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan core in a 6 x 52 toro, giving this vintage expression deeper roasted coffee, dried fruit and woody complexity with added smoothness compared to the regular Don Chico Habano. Handmade in Nicaragua by the Barreda family in honour of their grandfather Francisco “Don Chico” Barreda, this toro builds on the Don Chico Habano line’s reputation for balance and tradition, using carefully selected and matured tobaccos from different Nicaraguan regions to create a refined, flavour forward profile. The toro format brings an extended burn and cool, voluminous smoke, while solid construction with an oily wrapper, neat cap and firm pack supports an even burn line and reliable draw from first light to the final inch.

On the palate, Barreda Don Chico Vintage Habano Toro showcases the house Habano character of roasted coffee, dried fruits, nuts and gentle spice, now rendered with extra smoothness and a slightly sweeter, more rounded finish thanks to the aged wrapper. As the cigar progresses, cedar, leather and earth weave through the profile, with the strength sitting in the medium to full range yet remaining composed and balanced, making this Vintage Habano Toro a strong choice for smokers who enjoy classic Nicaraguan Habano flavour and want it in a longer, more polished evening format.
