Blackened
Blackened Cigars "M81" by Drew Estate is a groundbreaking collaboration born from the shared passions of Metallica's James Hetfield, Blackened American Whiskey Master Distiller & Blender Rob Dietrich, and Drew Estate's Jonathan Drew. Launched in 2022, this project fuses the worlds of premium cigars and heavy metal, aiming to deliver a powerful and unforgettable smoking experience.
Crafted at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Estelí, Nicaragua, the Blackened M81 cigar is a meticulously blended, full-bodied creation. It features a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, a Connecticut River Valley Broadleaf binder, and a robust filler blend of Nicaraguan and Pennsylvania Broadleaf tobaccos. The "M81" in its name refers to the year Metallica was formed (1981) and its dark, "blackened" aesthetic.
