Barreda Lotes Reservados No. 10 Petit Canon

The Barreda Lotes Reservados No. 10 Petit Cañon is its compact 4 x 56 Petit Cañon size, a short and thick format that is very much in style and designed to deliver a quick but substantial smoke with medium strength and plenty of flavour. Rolled as a sandwich cigar, it uses Nicaraguan wrapper and binder with a mixed filler that includes one whole, well aged leaf from Honduras’s Jamastrán valley for reinforcement, plus carefully selected cuttings from Barreda’s premium lines like Don Chico, giving it quality tobacco at a more approachable tier. Despite the mixed filler construction, these cigars are fully handmade, offering good draw, firm ash and flavour that reflects the Barreda profile even if they do not show quite the same evolution as long filler blends.

On the palate, the official tasting notes describe Lotes Reservados No. 10 as offering a bold smoke of medium strength full of recognisable roasted flavours, subtle spicy touches and a surprising menthol freshness that keeps the profile lively. You can expect a flavourful, straightforward experience that balances roasted coffee like notes with gentle spice and that distinctive fresh twist, making Barreda Lotes Reservados No. 10 Petit Cañon an excellent everyday option when you want a shorter, chunky Nicaraguan cigar that still feels interesting and well put together.
