点燃后有些苦，香气较其他几款更自然一点，康州叶薄是出了名的，这款明显在厚度上低于哈伯诺、马杜罗等。香气上相对多一些坚果味，有一些刺激性的木味，烟气略大，这种体验有点像印尼叶，前段体验不佳。中段味道一般般，只能说是在中等水平，这样看性价比就差很多了。浓郁度中等，吃味苦，坚果香和木香各占一半，还会有零星烤烟叶的香气。
