Barreda Lotes Reservados No. 10 Gran Toro

The Barreda Lotes Reservados No. 10 Gran Toro is a 6 x 54 gran toro size, offering the longest format in the No. 10 line while keeping strength in the medium range and focusing on flavour and value. Handmade in Nicaragua, this cigar uses Nicaraguan wrapper and binder, while the filler follows the Lotes Reservados concept of “reinforced sandwich” construction one whole, well aged leaf from the Honduran Jamastrán valley for structure, surrounded by carefully sorted cuttings from Barreda’s premium cigars such as Don Chico. This approach allows Barreda to reuse top grade remnants in an everyday priced cigar that still delivers good draw, firm ash and a solid, satisfying feel even if it does not have the same evolution as full long filler blends.

According to the official tasting note, Lotes Reservados No. 10 offers a bold, medium strength smoke full of recognisable roasted flavours, subtle spicy touches and a surprising menthol freshness that leaves the palate feeling clean and cool. In the gran toro length, those roasted and toasty tobacco notes have more room to develop, with the citrus accented, fresh finish highlighted in the Zeniza review as pairing especially well with light, citrusy cocktails and keeping the profile lively right to the end. Barreda Lotes Reservados No. 10 Gran Toro is therefore a strong choice for smokers seeking a larger, time friendly Nicaraguan cigar that is flavourful, distinctive and wallet friendly enough to enjoy as a regular smoke.
